(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - According to deputy of education at Ideo-Political Organization of Iranian Police Force, 500 more Police Force Dar-ol-Quran centers will be set up throughout the country by the end of the fifth national development plan.
Bahman Mansuri said: it is necessary for every member of the force to be able to read the Quran’s verses fluently.
Noting that 20 standard Dar-ol-Quran centers have been set up so far, he said “We plan to increase the number of the centers to 500 by the end of the fifth national development plan”.
Quran memorizers and winners of Quran competitions will be employed in the force more easily from now on, he added.
He said that the force is in need of more Quran teachers in the fields of Quran recitation, translation, concepts and memorization of the Quran as well as financial support to promote its Quranic activities.
“One of the main Quranic activities of the force is to hold Quran contests and the members are more interested in Quran memorization and recitation categories. They also welcome Quranic classes held by the force,” he went on to say.
